AGM 2026 SummaryThe club’s Annual General Meeting was held in January 2026 and marked another very positive year for the society. Members approved the minutes from the 2025 AGM and heard reports from the Chairman and Treasurer, confirming the club’s strong finances and continued stability.
The Chairman reflected on what was described as the club’s best year yet, with well-attended events including Skittles, garden visits, the closed show, BBQ, and popular member open gardens. The sense of friendship and support within the club was also highlighted, particularly during a year that saw the sad loss of some members.
Members were also presented with an exciting programme of talks, trips, and social events planned for 2026, including visits to Cranborne Manor and Bennetts Water Gardens, the July members closed show, and the Christmas party.
All current officers and committee members were re-elected for 2026, and the meeting closed with thanks to members for their continued enthusiasm and support as the club enters its 33rd year.
